The Opportunity

Lark Cake Shop came to Meraki Narrative looking to improve their overall social media aesthetic, brand awareness and ultimately increase business at their two store locations. Some problems that they faced were overall content quality, inconsistent branding, low consumer engagement and lack of brand awareness.

Our Solutions

Meraki Narrative worked closely with owner to define the goals of the business and identify key products to create a strategy that would best represent the brand. Starting fresh, we honed in on a brand aesthetic that best captured their customized cakes and specialty treats by showcasing them with bright, high-quality content. In addition to creating engaging content that customers would come into the shop for, we partnered with local businesses to drive foot traffic to both locations.

Our primary issue was creating a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing Instagram to help brand our cake shop. Meraki Narrative did this for us - they have a strong aesthetic eye and help create a very professional brand. We’ve grown our Instagram followers ten-fold over the course of the past year, which in turn has grown our brand awareness. We often get customers who come in and tell us how they’ve “seen our cakes on Instagram” and how much they like them.
